To mark the return of this year’s Aisles of Glory: Legends of the Haul, the only 8-bit video game about grocery shopping where you earn loyalty points and prizes, we created our very own video game controller. Using capacitive touch technology, we turned the brand’s iconic symbol - bananas - into buttons that allowed gamers on TikTok to move up, down and jump. With a limited media buy to advertise the game itself, the Frill Blaster Pro punched above its weight to generate awareness, including almost 10 million earned impressions. Influencer content was viewed over 12.2 million times, and the game was played by 740,000 unique players - a 40% increase from last year. It was named one of the Top Five Creative Campaigns on AdAge the week it launched.
